WiFi Network Coding Engineer

Job Description


As a leader in multichannel RF audio transport, we are looking for a full-time Network Engineer with extensive experience in wireless network coding to help develop and maintain our cutting-edge products.

Key Qualifications
  • Strong background in the fundamentals and application of wireless network coding, including familiarity two or more of the following network coding schemes:
    • Linear network coding
    • Non-deterministic network coding methods
    • Max-Flow Min-Cut (MFMC) theorem
    • Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC)
    • Triangular Network Coding (TNC)
    • Opportunistic Network Coding (ONC)
    • BitTorrent or Avalanche
    • Inter-session network coding
      • I2NC state and/or stateless
    • Intra-session network coding, including either
      • MORE opportunistic routing scheme
      • OMNC distributed optimization framework
      • CCACK
    • Opportunistic routing
    • Cross-layer design
    • Network Coding-Aware Queue Management (NCAQM) scheme
    • CLONE approach
    • Flow-based network coding
  • Working familiarity with network protocol capture and analysis tools (e.g. WireShark), RF test equipment, calibration, RF measurements, and signal analysis
  • Working familiarity with 802.11a/b/e (QoS)/n/ac protocol, spectrum usage, hardware, and specifications
  • Ability to program in C and MATLAB, with knowledge of both strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of 5GHz UNII band, including development and testing experience.
  • Minimum of a Master’ s degree in Electrical Engineering with signal processing emphasis  or equivalent work experience
