Job Description
Edgelink is looking for a Head of Data Science for our Fintech client in New York City. This role is a great opportunity for a Data Scientist to lead small team and communicate with internal leadership. This person should be comfortable communicating technical information to non-technical people. They will also lead a small team and get full autonomy of the hiring process and how their team is structured.
What you'll do:
- Communicate cross functionally with leadership teams
- Build and lead a team
- Deliver simple, consistent and streamlined dashboards for leadership to identify key gaps in performance and mentor for stronger business outcomes
What you'll need:
- 7 years of experience working in Data Science
- 1 year of leadership experience
- Master's Degree in related field
- Stay educated on modern data mining, quantitative research, and data science techniques
