This is a direct-hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits.

**This position will require working in office 2 to 3 days a week.

Local, Portland Metro candidates are preferred but we will consider candidates who will relocate in the near future.

Portland-area company is looking for a Software Engineer with strong C++ skills. They are leaders in developing computer vision technology. The Embedded Software Engineer will be part of a highly collaborative team and you will design and develop software applications in a Linux environment using C++. The applications are multi-threaded solutions that run on a variety of hardware devices. Future products will be developed using Python so there is an opportunity to work more with Python as well.

 

 

The following requirements must clearly be present on your resume to be considered for this position:

 

BSCS, BSCE, or equivalent experience

At least 4+ years of professional, object-oriented software development

At least 3+ years of current, professional multi-threaded C++ development

Proficient with Linux development environment

Proficient with object-oriented modeling and design patterns

 

Additional experience with Python is a plus

After several years of writing, directing, and producing TV commercials and music videos in Seattle and Eugene, he co-founded Instore Entertainment, a media/production company that was an early pioneer in point-of-sale video programming. Mark has won several media-related awards including two CLIO and two ACE awards for advertising and promotion and three RIAA gold records for recording industry promotional achievements.

Mark enjoys digital photography and graphics design and still works on the occasional video project.
